From New York to Washington D.C. to Oakland, tens of thousands of protesters took to the streets Saturday in the largest day of action since grand juries refused to indict the police officers who killed Michael Brown in Ferguson and Eric Garner in New York City.
For the “Millions March” in New York protesters met at Washington Square Park and marched to 1 Police Plaza. Later thousands of protesters marched across the Brooklyn Bridge. At 1 Police Plaza, Ron Davis (the father of Jordan Davis) and Franclot Graham (the father of Ramarley Graham) talked about losing their sons to police violence.
